Paleo Challenge: Day 3

I didn’t start the day off with much of an appetite on Day 3 of the Paleo Challenge.  I finally ate breakfast around 11am.  Had some fruit and almonds for a snack, then a little bit of steak and half of a Lara Bar before my WOD.  After my workout I made a stop at Whole Foods to see if I could find anything that would spark my appetite.  I walked the aisles for about 15 minutes.  Nothing really stood out.  But as I walked by the packaged pork cooler, I made a discovery that could very well be the best thing to ever happen to the Paleo Diet… The Greatest Little Organic Smokey Pork Cocktail Franks (yep, that is the actual full name of the product) by Applegate Organic and Natural Meats.  Go buy some, and I’ll let the taste do the talking.  Hillshire Farms don’t got nothin’ on these!

Breakfast – 3 eggs, 6 strips of bacon
Lunch – strawberries, blueberries, rasberries, blackberries, almonds
Snack – 2 strips of tri-tip from Whole Foods and 1/2 of a Lara Bar
Dinner – 4 eggs, about 8 or 9 dozen of those smokies and a broccoli
