A few of us Paleoites went to dinner at The Counter last night in Ballard. It’s nice that they provide the option to make your burger bunless, which we obviously took advantage of. I went with a 2/3 lb patty, mixed greens salad, grilled onions, bacon, grilled pineapple, guacamole, hard boiled egg and sweet potato fries. And let’s not forget my Rybolt-replacement for Diet Coke: club soda with lime. Three weeks ago I thought that any sort of sparkling water – flavored or not – was utterly disgusting. But now that I’ve been brainwashed by this diet, just the fact that it has carbonation makes it a treat everytime I drink it. Maybe this CrossFit thing really is a cult… oh crap.

Snack – macadamia nuts, dried mango slices
