So yesterday I went to Whole Foods for breakfast and per the norm, before I could even say a word, the cook looks at me and asks, “the usual?” I nod and tell him, “you got it,” and then head to the coffee bar to pay for my food and an Americano. The ‘usual’ normally consists of 2 eggs over medium and 6-8 strips of bacon. However, when he handed me my to-go box it felt a little lighter than normal. Initially, I thought to myself that maybe I’m just getting wicked stronger from all the bicep curls that we’ve been doing. But then I remembered that we don’t do bicep curls because they are silly, and it was then and there that I knew something was fishy. I got back to the office, opened up my box of food and sure enough there were only 4 pieces of bacon!! 4 pieces!? Come on bro!
At any rate, this morning I took matters into my own hands and went straight to the hot bar and served myself up some scrambled eggs, a dozen pieces of bacon and two link sausages. Mmmm Mmm. I know there was some talk recently about how much bacon I eat, and arteries this, cholesterol that and blah blah blah. I don’t know what my cholesterol numbers look like, but what I can tell you is that my arteries feel all warm and fuzzy today 🙂 We’ll give the cook another shot tomorrow and see what happens.

Breakfast – 2 eggs, 4 strips of bacon
Snack – Lara Bar
Snack – macadamia nuts, dried mango slices
Lunch – Italian Herb chicken, kale, zucchini
Snack – almonds, macadamia nuts, dried mango slices
Dinner – sautéed shrimp, onions, peppers, guacamole, plantain
