Paleo Challenge 2.0: Day 8 – What. Just. Happened?

Day 8 was a bad day for my progression in the Paleo Challenge.  But let me tell you, it was an awesome day for my appetite.  I started the day off like any other.  Eggs, bacon, fruit and coffee.  Lunch was decent, although I did slip up on some gluten-free toast and homemade jam.  But it was the pineapple-coconut ice cream after lunch that opened up the flood gates.  Once dinner rolled around and George slapped down his signature wings, sliders and ribs, I knew I was in for it.  Let’s just say that I took the day off of Paleo in observation of Independence Day 🙂

Breakfast
Scrambled eggs
5 Strips of bacon
Blueberries and raspberries
Americano w/cream

Lunch
Scrambled eggs
3 Chicken apple sausages
1 Slice of gluten-free toast w/raspberry jam

Snack
Coconut pineapple ice cream

Dinner
Bodyweight in Bing’s Wings
3 BBQ Pork Sliders
Body weight in ribs
Lots of cherries
1/2 of and ice cream sandwich

Snack
85% Cacao chocolate bar
