We’ve all been there. You catch a cold or a bug and the only active things you’ll be doing for the next 3 days are blowing your nose and eating chicken noodle soup. Other times it’s a nagging injury and as much as you hate to admit, you know the right thing to do is to let your body rest and recover. But in most cases, with proper care, you’ll be back in the gym before you know it. Naturally, you’ll want to ease back into it as not to blow yourself up after so much time off. Well, that’s if you’re most people. If you’re Zak, you come back into the gym after 3 weeks off and do the benchmark “Elizabeth”. But instead of doing the normal 21-15-9 of squat cleans and ring dips with 135#, you bump it up to 225#. Seems logical.
Unfortunately for Zak, he trusted us to keep track of the reps for him. Oops. On round one we let him move onto the ring dips after only 19 cleans instead of 21. Sorry bro! Even with the mishap, the performance is still ridiculous. Check it out!
