Paleo Challenge 3.0: Day 4

After the WOD we went to the newly opened Roro BBQ joint across the street from the Ballard gym.  We frequent the location on Wallingford and I normally get the 2-chicken thighs meal with a hot link on the side.  This new Ballard location, however, does not share the same menu and mainly serves burgers and sandwiches.  I opted for a double bacon burger, hold the bun and the cheese.  The lady behind the counter apologetically told me they were out of bacon (shed one tear), so I had them chop up a hot link and throw it on there instead.  It turned out pretty good, but I’ll have to give it another try after this challenge when I can eat the bun and cheese.  And they better have some bacon!!

Breakfast:
2 eggs
6 strips of bacon
1 banana
Americano w/cream

Lunch:
1/2 pound of tri-tip steak
Broccoli
Mashed yams
Iced coffee w/cream

Snack:
1 banana
A few pieces of leftover tri-tip

Dinner:
Double burger with hot links, no bun.  I’m not certain that the hot links were Paleo, but they didn’t have a label for me to read the ingredients, so I’ll just have to go with my gut. My gut says they were 😉

Snack:
Applegate sliced pepperoni
Handful of almonds
Coconut water

BACON COUNTER: 25
