Paleo Challenge 3.0: Day 17

“What is the single best thing we can do for our health?  Limit our sleeping and sitting to only 23 and 1/2 hours a day.”  -Dr. Mike Evans

The video below made its rounds a few months ago and most of you have probably already seen it.  I really dig it.  The message is simple.  Dedicate 30 minutes of your day to some sort of exercise.  You can take the other 23 and 1/2 hours of your day and be a lazy, useless, waste of a human being.  Easy enough, right?  You are guaranteed to be healthier than if you sucked for all 24 hours of your day.  It’s like magic!

My only gripe with that video is how it applies to people like crossfit…I can’t crossfit every day or I would die. On your off days do you usually do some form of exercise?

    • I’m with you on that. I only CrossFit about 4 days a week. But I typically end up at least moving around on off-days, whether it be walking to lunch, snowboarding or riding my dirtbike (although those last two haen’t happened for quite a while). If nothing else, Nikki will drag me around a mall for 2 hours 😉

Not sure why, but I laughed super hard at the lunch item “2 smoked chicken thighs” here. I thought to myself, “hmm I had those too, after 12.4.” Then I realized you were referring to actual food.
